The DOMAINE DELORME is situated in VERGISSON , a very small traditionally winegrowing village in South Burgundy, 10 km from Macon., about 65 km from Lyon. Famous for his 'Roche', it belongs to the 'Grand Site classé de France Solutré- Pouilly-Vergisson .
The monks from Cluny started the winegrowing tradition centuries ago.
The Domaine has been owned by the same family for generations. 17th century files with the name of Delorme were found mentioning the winegrowing activity.
The vineyards of the Domaine Delorme are cultivated around the Roc of Vergisson, with south and southeast situated slopes The main production of the Domaine is POUILLY-FUISSE , the most famous white wine of the Southburgundy and some SAINT-VERAN neigbour of the Pouilly-Fuissé both made 100 % of the little golden-seeded Chardonnay grape.
